Baby Jade Brown plays SoulFunk with a twist of Rock and Jazz Dance. Inspired by icons such as Jamiroquai, Erykah Badu, Stevie Wonder and many others, the band has written songs over the past years with an obvious 'black' feel. 

Established in the year 2005 while BJB has reached its latest cast in autumn 2008 when keyboard player Sjoerd Selen joined the band.

The base for a new song is often created by Hester while playing the piano. Others arise from just jamming during a rehearsal. With creative input from all the band members the songs reach their final state.
